Summer is almost here, a beautiful reminder of renewal and growth. As we go outside and enjoy the warmth and beauty of this season, I want to share some thoughts on a topic close to my heart: Self-Love.
Our minds often drift to the past, holding onto memories that may weigh heavily on us with emotion and, sometimes, even trauma. We don’t cling to the past to punish ourselves; we hold on because we believe it holds meaning. But here’s a gentle reminder: “You can honor your past without letting it overshadow your present.”
Living in the Now
It’s essential to learn from what happened, what was said, and what was felt––and then, let it go. You deserve to be fully present, here and now, free, unrestrained, hopeful, and ready for what’s to come.
The past is done. You are not. Keep moving forward with love and kindness towards yourself. You are here, in this moment, and this moment is all that matters.
A Meditation for the Present
I invite you to join me in a simple meditation to center yourself and embrace the now:
I see myself crystal clear
I am here, in the now
What’s behind me is done
What’s in front of me is to come
I am here, in the now
This moment is all I have
This moment is all that matters
I am here, in the now
May these words resonate with you and bring you peace. Remember, self-love is about being kind and tender and loving to yourself in your thoughts, on purpose. As you navigate through this summer, carry this meditation with you, and let it remind you to be present and loving to yourself.
With all my love,
Paul ❤️
